I LOVED this book by Sandra D. Bricker. The humor made me laugh out loud, while the depth of Lucy’s spiritual journey made me analyze being true to God’s plan for my life. Sandie has a real gift for weaving humor with spiritual growth and writes a very strong story. I loved the recipes included in the book, could visualize being in the story with the characters, and, because I’m originally from that area, I LOVED the descriptions and setting. I miss the Ozarks so much! Thanks, Sandie, for a fantastic, fun read.

Oh. Yum. This book is so much fun. If novels are about entertainment, this one is a best friends’ get-together—complete with laughing guests, a roaring fire, music in the background and a delicious meal on its way. You will laugh out loud as you witness Sandra’s characters’ missteps. Her timing and ability to create hilarious scenarios make for one enjoyable escapade after another. Careful about reading this book in a quiet house. You might wake everyone else up with your uproarious laughter!
